This site is intended to enhance the visibility of local organizations to one another and the community at large whether generally viewed as a majority or minority owned/led organization. This includes churches and other spiritual/religious organizations, for-profit and non-profit businesses and government entities.
The intent is to facilitate the development and promulgation of organizations that enhance the moral and socio-economic capacity of all segments of our community. It is hoped that businesses will consider partnering with local businesses before using out of town businesses. The site particularly focuses on improving the visibility and awareness of the availability of minority businesses; however, all businesses may participate.
Large businesses are encouraged to partner with and support smaller businesses in your city/community. In doing so, your “hands-up” help to generate and sustain smaller businesses that potentially generate sales tax and general quality of life improvements for themselves and all citizens of your city/community. Moreover, it is a way of giving back! Of course, the definition of large and small is relative and contextual. So let your heart and financial capacity guide your contributions, partnership, and support.
